Public Engagement
Join us at a public engagement event!
The development of the Conesus Lake Watershed Management Plan Update will rely on public input to guide plan priorities and recommendations.
Three public meetings will be held throughout the planning process to capture feedback from residents and stakeholders in the Conesus Lake watershed. Staff from the Livingston County Planning Department will be attending additional community events to provide project information and answer questions.
Community Surveys
Livingston County created surveys to collect additional community input that will guide the Watershed Management Plan Update. The surveys include multiple choice and open-ended questions and will take about 10 minutes to complete.
The surveys were open from September 30, 2024 to October 31, 2024.
Public Meeting 1
The first public meeting was held on September 30th at Camp Stella Maris. The event was an open house style meeting where participants had one-on-one conversations with the project team and provided their ideas and feedback to help inform the development of the plan.
Informational and interactive boards were displayed around the room to facilitate conversations and idea sharing. To view the boards, click here.
Community members that were unable to attend the public meeting were able to share comments, feedback, questions, or ideas based on the board prompts through October 31, 2024. Click here to read a summary of public comments collected at the meeting.
